Presenters for both oral presentation and poster, are kindly requested to follow the following indications in the preparation of their speech and the file of the poster
1.1 Oral presentation
1.1. Registration
To include your presentation in the final program, you need to complete registration by 14/05/2026 at https://icar2026.it/registrations/
If you cannot attend, you may propose another speaker to present the topic. This speaker must complete the registration by the deadline listed above.
In case you do not find another colleague to present the topic, please let us know as soon as possible or by the end of the week (18 May 2026)
1.2 Duration of the Presentation
Each oral presentation should last 12 or 15 minutes, including 2–4 minutes for Discussion/Q&A, depending on the number of contributions in the session. The exact duration will be announced together with the publication of the Scientific Program.
1.3 Slide Delivery
For delivering the file with the presentation of your oral presentation, the Slide Center will have the following time:
- 30 May: from 14:30 to 18:00
- 31 May: from 08:30 to 18:00
- 1 June: from 08:30 to 18:00
- 2 June: from 08:30 to 18:00
- 3 June: from 08:30 to 18:00
- 4 June: from 08:30 to 18:00
1.4 Audiovisual Guidelines for Oral Presentations
All presentations must be prepared in PowerPoint format (.pptx file extension). Presentations will be run on a Windows 11 PC using PowerPoint, with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
All presentations must be submitted directly to the Slide Centre at least 30 minutes before the start of the session.
To ensure the smooth running of the presentation, speakers are kindly requested to follow the guidelines below during preparation:
- 16:9 format
- Use LANDSCAPE orientation (PORTRAIT orientation is not displayed correctly).
- Use standard Windows fonts only. The use of language-specific or non-standard fonts is not recommended.
- Images: do not use copy-and-paste from other applications. Always use PowerPoint’s INSERT IMAGE FROM FILE option (JPG or PNG format).
- Videos: the most compatible video formats are WMV and MP4. To avoid any issues with video playback or animations, presentations must be saved exclusively as .pptx files.
- in case you wish to include in your presentation the conference logo, it is available here.
- Apple Keynote users: presentations must be exported and saved in .pptx format, selecting this option in the advanced settings menu. Please always check the presentation on a Windows computer (preferably Windows 11).
1.5 Platform for the Upload of the Presentations
- Slides must be uploaded by 28 May, 12:00 CEST, using the following url: https://slide-cloud.streamlit.app/.
- If you are unable to upload your presentation prior to the conference, please bring a USB stick containing your slides to the Slides Centre in Verona on the day before your presentation. Once you have accessed the website via the link above, please enter your personal password previously communicated. This will open the upload page where you can upload one or more files.
- After completing the upload, please click the red “Send to Google Drive” button and add the password communicated to you in a previous email
1.5.1 On Site Support
If you have technical questions regarding your presentation, you can meet the technician in the Slide Centre to either make sure that your presentation will run properly on the system or to anticipate a backup solution.
1.5.2 Restrictions
- Personal laptop computers cannot be connected to the projectors. Presentations cannot be uploaded directly onto the computer in the lecture rooms.
- Presentations must be uploaded via our service at the Slide Centre only.
1.6 Instructions for Manuscripts for the ICAR Proceedings
For the preparation of the manuscript of your oral presentation, please:
- Use the following template to prepare your manuscript
- Name the manuscript file indicating the number of the session and the name of the presenting author, (e.g., TS04_Robert Smit.docx)
- Manuscripts have to be possibly limited to five pages, using Arial font with 12 points as described in the template
- Mathematical formulas must be provided as equations, not as pictures
- Respect the format of references as reported in the template
- Deadline for submission of the first draft of the manuscript for publication in the Proceedings: 27 May to mosconi@icar.org
- Deadline for providing the last version of the manuscript for publication in the Proceedings: 30 September to mosconi@icar.org

2. Guidelines for Poster Presentations
ICAR proposes to print your poster on-site to be ready upon your arrival. The Oreganisers will cover the cost of printing. Below are the instructions for the preparation of the file. Please let us know asap if you don’t wish ICAR to print the poster.
Posters shall be presented in A0 format (84,1 × 118,9 cm) with the title, the addresses of authors and the scientific content.
2.1 Delivery of the poster for on-site printing
- To make your poster available for printing, please email your poster to the following account by 18th of May, 11:00 CEST tecnico@promofiereverona.com
- Name your poster as follows (Number_of_the _Technical_Session.Name_Presenting _Author.Number_of-Abstract, e.g.: TS_0_Silvia Orlandini_111)
- Please submit the poster as a JPG, PDF, or EPS.
- In case you wish to include in your poster the logo of the Conference, please downlaod it here

Authors are requested to prepare the manuscript of their poster for inclusion in the Proceedings of Verona.
